Never a dull moment riding with Jim...this was moments after he asked me if I was getting out, or strapping in, before he attempted one of those two obstacles he drove away from without conquering. on one side he did It smoked like a bitch after he was pulled out but he shut it off before the tick turned into a knock......then tried it two more times.

Rob did awesome. Had a little steering problems but other than that stayed with the pack. Even had a couple times where he showed the bigger tires how it was done.

Looks like a great time was had by all! Glad everyone returned safe and sound with minimal carnage.
Did the cheater tires make it up helmet hill?

only 2 obstacles....

there are a bunch more then that i know you wont make..but there is alot to see so it is hard to do everything in a couple of days.

so helmet hill.the v notch in the creek. did you make the climb buy the beaver damn? how about the last climb on the top of the ledges trail, the exit of the other creek.(not shit creek thats were the beaver damn is.) i can think of 6 off the top of my head....

Are you talking about the one in the video where Dale and Dar beat their rigs pretty good and Jim goes right up it really quick? Everyone went up in the center section with the big undercut. The only one who made it up without a winch was Jim. Curly went up on the far left side.


Everyone had to winch up to the top of the ledges trail on the last big ledge. I think that a few may have been able to make it but we had stopped for awhile to fix a few rigs and everyone was ready to move on.

I was asked how my tires worked, I gave an answer based on the weekend. No, I did not say I ran every obstacle on both pieces of property. It's pretty hard to hit all of both places in 2 days. We moved pretty slow the first morning due to a bunch of small issues. I winched the step at the top of the rock garden climb above the stairs. I played on Helmet Hill and decided I didn't need to roll to make it but I got about half way up by crawling. I tried the v notch 3 times. Almost got on top twice but it was the wrong line and when we tried to correct I fell in and had to be winched sideways to get out. All others I drove including axle wrap.

There's no way I'm saying I can drive everything but that's the result of the weekend we had.

We had a great time.
The weather was fantastic for the time of year.
The Money Pit lives to wheel another day (the Atlas is the shit).
Real happy with the way it performs. Only minor upgrades this winter.

They stopped us on both sides of the border this trip.
It pays to go clean.

Sounds like they stopped a lot of people this year. The few in the group I was with went on thru both ways, but it seemed everyone after that was stopped on the way over at least.

Looked a lot more slimey then at Loonie. Glad you all had a good time with minimal carnage.

erin is talking about the end of river roc which is the creek were al's rock (the notch) is but we did not get that far the beaver damn part is closed cause the ministry would shut us down if they knew and the spot tweak is talking about is outback. all in all the chearter tires worked pretty good but i would still keep my irocs
