What ended up killing the flies?

I have same problem right now and I canít seem to get rid those little flies. I think their living in the garbage disposal. Unfortunately itís an apartment so I canít take it apart to clean it out as the bolts are very rusty and I donít want to pay for breakage. The maintenance department has been dragging their feet for the last 4 days. I canít take it anymore, their everywhere!

Enzyme drain cleaner. Mix with hot water, and pour into a running garbage disposal. I've had to retreat a couple times, but for the most part, they are gone.

Thanks for the tip, I have them regularly as well around my garbage disposal. I don't think that the margaritas help except when they end up in the bottom of the glass.

I get them every year when the grapes go bad behind my house.

I've been using 1/2" of red wine vinegar in a glass with a piece of cellophane over the top with holes poked in the plastic.

The flies go in looking for the sweet smell and never come out. It works kinda like the mouse/bucket/radiator fluid trap.

Regular wine can be used in a pinch but needs to be changed regularly in order to be effective.
