Got back from Green Bay last night...

...at 10:00 PM.

Yes, Lambeau Field is very cold in December....especially night games.

We bought a package deal with a tailgate preparty at Favre's Steakhouse. Who would have thought the tailgate was outside?!?! F'in Wisconsin freaks!!!

If going to Green Bay in December wasn't stupid enough, we decided to "avoid" Chicago traffic and come home thorugh the U.P. It's only about 60 miles longer....but we forgot about snow...and 55 MPH 2 lane roads. Yeah, it took a while to get home. We ate lunch at KFC in Escanaba. People talk funny there. I felt like I was in the middle of a scene from a Jeff Daniels play.

Well, I can now say I've seen the Packers, with Brett Favre throwing, play a night game at Lambeau in December. Check that box. Never again.

Next year we're thinking Miami.

Bah, just cuz the sign says 55mph doesn't mean they don't do 90+ up there. And snow? Pfft, my mom lives near Bergland and she's got maybe 2 feet. She should have 7 feet by now.

There is nothing like a game at Lambeau. The people there are awesome. 4 years ago me & 3 buddies went out. We had (this is seriously no joke) Bart Starr's tickets for the game. Four dudes in Lions gear sitting in Bart's seats pounding beers.

Awesome time

The stadium/people were cool, but the freezing temp made it difficult to enjoy.

Last year was colder. Blowing wind & snow.

What an awesome weekend. Two days of nonstop partying. Saturday nights snowstorm made the tailgate party all the more fun, playin football in the snow across the street from Lambeau. A steady flow of Capt. Morgan kept us warm & club level seats helps. Already can't wait for next year.

Only the lions can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

We headed south on the way back. Clear skies & roads. Hit Chicago aboot 2:30, slight back up thats all.
