Spartan Locker

Gonna be getting a locker in the front of the blazer soon and looking at the Spartan lunchbox. Axle is a Dana 60, just wondering if anyone is running them and how they like them??

I have a dana 44 spartan locker in my Scout. I had it up front first, and I got tired of breaking axle shafts and u-joints. Now it's in the rear. It performs great, no problems.

I have a 345 V8 with lots of torque and 35" BFG MT's. I break other stuff before the locker.

Ya my only concern is that putting bbc power to it & it going KABOOM!! When i had a 44 front i had a auburn limited slip and broke to sets of lockouts, 2 stubs shafts and 1 inner. But that was when i had a SM465 in it and was in low gear.....

use a mini spool or a full spool and dont even mess with the locker up front. If you have lockouts you can unlock em for the road. Less moving parts to break. I destroyed a locker up front because of a broken axle shaft. Went mini spool after that. That was 15 yrs ago. I love it and my shit will go through it brother!!!
