well i screwed up on my 7/8 bungs. i meant to order 1.5 id weld ins but got the 1.25" id bungs. so those are getting shipped back this week and new the right ones sent out.

i might get 1 or 2 nights in the barn this week. and then saturday i have most the day. so im hoping to have the front and rear seat mounts done along with tabs for belts. if i can get that done and pull the cage for finish weld and paint that will be a huge step in the right direction.

well ruffstuff wasted no time. delivered the right weld in bungs today. so now i have knowone to blame for me taking to long.

i managed to make it to barn today and got the rear seat mount all done. so thats another thing off the list. the frame ties into the stock body mounts in front and bolts thru the floor behind the seat and bolts to a tab i made off the frame. should hold the seat nicely.

seats bolt to these tabs

under the body to frame mount

seat mount done and in. nice low profile to keep the seat low and enough head and foot room for big kids too.

slowly but surely. have not had more than one day to work in it in the last 2 weeks. but the day i did work on it i got alot done. alot of moving backwards that is.

went from a fuctionally working rig to a hoist prop for the next few months im sure with my limited working time on it.

axles out:

suspension out and sold to grassman

axle before 4 hours of cutting and grinding off all the crap:

after cleanup:

new truss being built with 3/16" plate using my chinese longevity plasma cutter.

got both axles cleaned up so they are sitting under it now. trying to mock up links and see what shocks will fit where. This is full stuff without me having to remove the gas tank in the rear. not sure if ill be happy with this or not. still debating on pulling the tank and coming up with something else.

my goal is 107-108" wheel base which is what its sitting at now.
