trailrig can sure ream some holes

he stopped over wednesday night and helped me finish the drivers side.

im hoping to slow any rusting of having the corner guards on by using silicone. i siliconed the edge of the whole corner and all the bolt holes before puttin them on. i hope this will seal out the weather.

has anyone had any luck trying anything else?

I've had my rockers and corners off since first installing them and what I found was disturbing. My tub is fairly solid and all of the mud and grit that is In between the layers has destroyed the paint and ecoat of the tub, leaving the Metal raw and rusting. If your corners fit tight enough that you can seal them I think it's a great idea. None of my armor fits that tight in all dimensions.

I siliconed the ones on my TJ, they were before I pulled them off and it does help.

I would only do the top and sides and leave the bottom open in case some water gets in, and if you don't go hog wild you will be able to remove them without using heat to separate the silicone, that shits holds.

new mall crawlin tires. dairy queen or bust! my old style 37 mtrs were just a little to small for my liking. and my 39 krawlers rubbed. so I compromised and went with 38 mtrs. I love them on the cruiser. they are the perfect fit and I should get all the travel I wanted out of my shocks without rubbing. and the big + is that when im out with those guys on 40 mtrs I can spend all day showing them up with a wee little set of 38's

Looks good Nick. I'm sure you can outperform all the guys in the parking lot with your MTR's.
Hopefully you have the HP to turn the paddles.

im going to try and set the silver lake sand dunes world record for longest water crossing with the paddles. I just hope I don't bend my trophy truck c-channel frame doing it.
