Default Scrap Heep Cj3a

Since I can't shake off the bug to have a flat fender, and I have plenty of spare parts why not.

Picked this up months ago to start

Plans are;
2.5 L from a tj (left over from tj I had)
Ford/jeep T18
Dana 18 (had)
Dana 44 rear
W/t 30 front, now dana 44 wide track width
2.5" lift
Scout II steering box (had)
34-35" swampers

Found a couple bad spots in the frame. One is where the steering box will mount so while fixing the frame I added some more height to help with mounting the box. Also started removing all the old brackets that are no longer needed.

that bellhousing won't work? 2.8 is the 60 v6 pattern... Which is what I'm doing with for my Willy's build. Tj pattern 2.5 is different from the old 4 cyl?

I know a lot more about that funny Chevy bolt pattern than I do jeep changeover...

Tj 2.5 is the same as all the other 2.5s that have the 60* bell housing
I think your thinking of the dodge 2.4 they started using in 03

Guess you learn something every day. Did they not have an auto option in the 90's for the 2.5?
