Yes, we have a large block of rooms. If you plan on going, and staying at the Quality Inn, use the user group name and number listed in the bubble on the registration form.

For those who have never been to SnoFari, or are unfamiliar with West Branch. The Quality Inn is located right at exit 212. It next to the Tanger Outlet Mall. There is a Restraunt/Bar attached, as well as a gas station with a Subway. You can walk from your room to all without ever walking outside. The Banquet is also held at QI, and if you are a male, I will snuggle with you if you show up stag.

According to the front page of Gl4x4, 80 rigs are allowed this year. That is awesome! I can't wait to see 80 rigs as opposed to 60.

I'm still waiting to be reimbursed for the limiting strap I provided that night.

really interested!! does it require any street driving? my rig is nowhere near street legal and has no valid plates (nor would I renew them).

my trailer is a 32' gn with a camper built on it so I would prefer to park somewhere close, unload and hit the trails.

thanks

Unfortunately the vehicle needs to be licensed and insured. Most of the trails we use are SOS only trails.

Don't forget to drag the old man. I asked the hotel to make on of the rooms a sauna with a bed in it just for him.

do I have to worry about driving on roads at all? how far? the rig can safely run 35-40ish on pavement (full hydro gets a little weird over that). are there worries of getting pulled over?

I usually drive from the campground to the dunes when we are at SL.

TIA

Yes, you will need to drive on the road. The distance is not the issue, usually 10-15 miles max depending on the run you take. Trailering is not a good option as you will most likely be making a loop and not come back out where you started. One exception would be if anyone leads a run around the motorsport area. At this time, I don't think anyone has that as an official plan, and I would not want to limit my run because of one person.

The other problem is insurance. In order for for us to have our umbrella policy, I believe all vehicles must have basic insurance. But, I'm not up to speed on our latest insurance so we will need to hear from someone else.
