Yea The engine is in and the headers are on for a test fit. Everything went together pretty smooth.Had to open 2 holes in the adapter but went pretty good.Mike was a huge help. Ill try to post pictures later. I was up till 3am working on it then the old man came out to do some phesant hunting and had to procces the deer i stabbed earlier this week.

Engines in and mounts are welded I made the tranny mount and got that installed. Tranny ended up 1.25 inches forward from where it was.Also got the jeep wiring harness simplified and ready to got in. Was defanitly a productive weekend. And i still cant fiqure out how to put big pictures up.

Thanks for the tips but resizing and open with paint ? I dont think my computer would look good painted and how is that gonna help any?

I think she meant use the program "Paint" on your pc to open the pics.

will the cross member go in or does it hit the throttle body? i may be doing a swap soon that day at R&V took its toll on the 4.0 she is smoking quite a bit

I got it to clear the throttle body,Thought I was good untill I put the alternator on Thats when everything went to shit!!!

well alittle status update. Engines in and permanitly mounted headers are painted and on,My drive shafts are sent out for lengthening and shortening.I spent last weekend making a fuel pump and sender for my genright tank.This week im gonna try to get my fuel lines ran and shifter modified to work with my center console.Then this weekend Im planning on doing the electrical and maybe with alittle luck hear it run by the end of the weekend

Well she starts and runs.And runs pretty dam good.All of my gauges work exept for my volt gauge.It Reads battery voltage whith key on and charge voltage running then about 30 seconds later it pegs the needle ant my check gauges light comes on.Its got me stumped right now because when it pegs the needle the system voltage is at like 13.8 so Let the fun begin. I know its a long shot but anybody run factory gauges with a 5.3 liter swap and had a issue like this? Wondering if maybe its a a,prage problem and not a voltage problem.

Scratch that last post. Suburbans run a higher amp alternator that was charging more than the jeep ecm wanted.put a truck alternator on it and now all my gauges work.
