Im just trying to make the swap as easy as possible. I dont really care who`s is done first as long as we get to race up helmet hill next year,But If mines done first Im taking the right side you get the left.

I bought the camaro windage tray and the pan had a baffle simmilar to the truck pan.I was thinking that would be sufficiant? Please correct me if I`m wrong.Never found a good answer.

from the research i did it was hard to figure out what works and what not. most people seemed to switch to the kevko pan since it already had the right baffling. rather than buying a camaro pan and modifying it. i ended up keeping the truck pan. and dropping the skid 2 inches lower in the spot under the pan.

Kept the stock 6.0 pan as well. Oil pressure seems good even at a steep climb.

Ups Just delivered my radiator and flywheel. Im going to reassemble the engine tonight and start the teardown of the jeep tommorow.With any luck there will be a 5.3 sitting in the engine compartment this weekend

I went with the Comaro pan. Add an extra quart of oil and it never loses pressure.

please get that radiator dipped in chrome.

yea what i have read on the 5.3 thread on pirate everyone was doing the kevko pan. if that old fart jim says it's good i am sure it will be fine.

Got a liitle done after work today.Engines out,and tranny is separated. Now Its gonna get a good cleaning then Start simplifying the stock harness. And how the hell do I get full size pics on a thread.

how did the mtrs do in canada compared to the other tires.

i was impressed with them..they seemed to really work everywhere.

what clutch did you get ? old or gen 3? the way they told you to do it, did you have to get the new starter or can you keep yours? i keep asking mike if you got it done yet...

That had nothing to do with the tires It was all driver And if anyone finds some 40 inch mtr kevlars let me know where.Ive been trying to get a spare for 3 months now.everybody says they are on backorder
