The law states that you should run a search before asking.

Law states that if you do not have doors, you must wear pants.

Oh, and you need a mirror on the driver's side.

WHAT...NO??? How is a search done? Sounds time consuming, rather have everyone else waste their time reading my thread on GL4x4 instead.

Also, did it ever occur to you that you driving in your cherokee without doors is very similar to ANYONE in a CJ, YJ, TJ, or JK doing the same. It just takes you weeks to decide to do it, then wait til cold whether is upon us to finally pull the trigger, and then about 1-2 hrs to take your doors off. When the aforementioned group just pulls 4 pins and tosses the damn doors in the garage.

Damn, some people need to think for themselves instead of trying to get the internet forum community to do it for them.

Seriously though, try SEARCHING on one of these sites:

It can't be done. Without the support of the doors the Uni-body will crumble like feta cheese. I don't recommend it.

The Michigan MVC only states that vehicles must have at least 2 rear-view mirrors, with 1 of those being mounted on the drivers side of the vehicle. The other can be either a passenger side mirror or mid mount.

There was nothing I could find relating to the actual doors themselves being required.

True.

And without doors, pants are required.

It also stated pants must contain at least 110% polyester to be DOT approved.

don't forget to roll your flag up while on the road, it won't shred in the wind if you put a rubber band around too.

need a dunes flag. I got pulled over running doorless in my dodge towing my jeep with the doors on it, and the officer made me drive up to silver lake right then to avoid getting a ticket.

He was an Oakland County Sheriff in Livingston County.
