Default Bed liners?

Rhino liner vs Line-X? Or is there any other options that are just as good?

My friend used some that he sprayed on and it is already flaking off, it went on thin and maybe he should have used a second coat IDK? I am just trying to avoid what he is going through right now, where could I take my truck to have this professionally done with a warranty?

I used herculiner for my floors in the XJ, as well as on my skid plates. It is coming off in flakes under the drivers floor mat only. The skids have held up great. I intend to use it on my bushwhackers as well.

Just like paint, prep work is critical.

There is no prep that will make up for the pro spray on liner. We have line-x in the bed of our work truck. It's about 1/8" at the thinnest spots (some thick shit) and it is very hard. It also has a lifetime warranty through the company we got it done by. They are in Battle Creek MI. if you need the number, let me know.

I have done roll one in the past and this is nothing like it. Best thing is with line-x, it will not fade or turn chalky with age. We have ours for 5+ years now and drag lots of things in and our of the bed. Looks new (if we washed it).

Yes give me the number for that place, the more research I do the more I am liking the idea of Line X.

I did Durabak in my Dakota and indise my TJ tub and it's held up well. It isn't as "UV -proof" as LineX, but I was able to buy two gallons of Durabak, supplies (tape, plastic, appropriate thinner, sandpaper/scotchbrite pads), and the undercoating spray gun for a little over half of what my local LineX place wanted to just do my 5' Dakota bed.

Although I'll admit, the LineX is awesome tough stuff that's held up everywhere I've seen it used.

As stated, preparation, preparation, preparation.
