Default Halp '00 VW Jetta radio code

Vehicle: VW, Jetta. 2000

Replaced the battery and the radio is in safe mode. The needed code isn't in the manual and not sure which # in the trunk to look at.

Any aid would be appreciated.

Read this it might help. If not you only option might be the Dealer. Bring proof of ownership.

IMPORTANT: You have three tries to get the code right. After that the third attempt the radio locks and only a dealer can unlock it for you.
Good Luck.
