today i got the other side cut and mounted up

what should my shackle angle look like? Im not positive what is considered correct or good, and help guys?

i also did a little figuring with the new cross bar, drop kit

i will need to lengthen my lower lca's, what is the best way to do this i was gonna cut it in the middle and then bevel the edges, weld it, then sleeve the whole arm. then i will need to shorten my uppers a little bit, will this limit my flex? and then also can i just eliminate one upper control arm?

here is a pic of the drop kit, the middle hole there slides into the lca pocket and is bolted on, the bottom most hole is where the lca will now bolt to and the upper hole is where the upper will now bolt to

today i finished welding up the stiffeners, and then attached the control arm drops and the new cross member.

here is what the new angle will be on the lca's, it is much much better

i hate removing the undercoating, by the time i was done my face was blacker than this and all you could see what the outline form my safety glasses

tomorrow i am going to make my new longer lca's and shorten my uppers. i may start on a axle truss idk yet though we will see how long the front suspension takes.

i didn't get to the front suspension because the steel yard didn't have what i needed, but today i removed the inner fender on the other side and then mounted my fuel cell, i also figured our how to mount my new fuel pump. is there anyway to hook up a fuel gauge to the cell? the floor cut isn't quite done but you get the idea.

your shackle angle should be opposite of what it is now, angled to the back instead of the front.

You planning on cutting the rear qp more? Looks a little weird like that and like your tire is going to hit easily.

I am interested to see how the leaf flip works for you.

Also look into HD offroad engineering shackle boxes, They will helo that shackle angle ALOT!!!

i flipped my leafs back as do not have enough to lengthen my drive shaft right now, and no i am not done trimming yet, i am making tube fenders for it. The boxs i am making are a copy of hd offroads. Have any of you guys relocated your battery? if so what did you do about that temperature sensor in the bottom of the factory tray, doesn't that control how the battery charges?

today, i got the front suspension all done, i had to lengthen my lcas, but its all done. it should flex alot better now. i also got the other side inner fender made up and welded on. Then i made mounts for the new fuel pump and filter. fired it up for the first time and it ran great off of the fuel cell. tomorrow i am going to tie up a few loose ends and maybe take a few poser flex shots in the yard.

alright well the past few days, i welded up the rear fenders and tied up some lose ends. painted the new front wheel wells, mounted some under hood components and got most of by oba set up in. i still need to wire the pressure switch and a few other small things like paint the panel i made to hold the gauges but it seems to work pretty well, at airs up my tires in about a minute and a half so its not too bad. i also need to set up a oilier for the intake on the compressor.
