Default JK Rough Country Series II Lift Kit

I traded my 3" spring lift for a 2.5" Coil Spacer lift on my JK. I didn't need the extra height the 3" provided, as I like my stock tires.

I installed the Rough Country Series II Lift Kit. It has coil spacers, new rear sway bar links, rear track bar relocation bracket, shock extenders, and brake line extenders. No bump stops. Front spacers are 2.5" and Rear spacers are 2.0"

This kit was easy to install, took a couple of hours in my driveway.

My Jeep has a Warn winch and Warn bumpers on it. That setup dropped the front of the Jeep probably 1.5" It didn't look right. This new kit has it setting about 1" over stock and level. I think it looks good.

My concern about this kit was the lack of bumpstops. But you can see in the attached pictures that they are not really needed. * I forgot to check out what the shocks looked like during this flex. * I think I might still put in some 1" bump stops on the front anyhow, I think the rear looks OK. Also, you can see that the springs are not in fully collapsed.

Just wanted to share my experience. Overall, I like this kit. It gives my Jeep just the ride height I want.

Craig.

Thanks mann. I think it turned out just right. Hope the 3" kit is working well for you.
