Default sled season is coming....

what you think of the new sleds..the cats do look good. doo has the best bang for the buck for power and mileage with the etec.yamaha is still king for a trail cruiser that never breaks. the new pro r switchbacks are cool but i hate the lower grab bar and the rear end. my money is on a 2012 assault..

went to snowmotion a couple weeks ago and have the bug again.

Snow is not really too far away. I doo like the new poolaris mtn. sled looks, but I'd have to stick with the summits.

I want the Phazer MTX. It has a small engine but is supposed to be light weight and ride like a dirtbike.

Personally will not go after one of the new yami's. Last year of riding with them, we stopped every half hour or so to let them cool down because they would overheat if you rode them too hard. Love the new summits, and new polaris mountain sleds, but if I had the money, I would buy a 600rs.

My 06 mxzx has been a great sled, but I am looking around???

Good point, I forgot Joel bought a nytro. I am glad to hear he likes it. Do you know what year he got and if it is a standard track? I'm wondering if a std. track with a paddle does as well as my rev with 1.25 ripsaw?

I was also tempted to buy the 2012 Switchback Assault when I was at snowmotion, but unless my 09 Assault sells I will wait another year or two.

Just bought my first sled in 8 years or so.

2007 F6 Sno Pro with just over 2,000 miles on it. I tore the whole front off the sled to powder coat the a arms and spindles black. I also had the spars painted black instead of silver. Now I'm just polishing the tunnel and waiting for snow.

I think the new Cats are sweet!

I'm working on getting my 98 VMAX ready.

Be my second season with a sled and hope to get more miles on it this year. Picked up a primary and a new 136" ripsaw from my cousin for free so now I need to find rail and tunnel extensions for it(So if you have some you'd like to sell me I'd be interested). The only other thing is maybe a new set of skis for it.

Also, I hope my cousin doesn't pull this shit again.

Still the same motor but they did some internal changes and went from 2 injectors back to 1 injector per cylinder. You also have to remember when you buy an Assault RMK it is not geared for top end. My stock 09 will spank a stock Z1 Turbo out of the hole enough to get infront of them where they will back off from the spray. The Switchback Assaults are geared similiar or the same as the Switchbacks.
