how thick can you go with wheel spacers on a light rig?

You get thicker than 2" and it start to put alot of stress on stuff from the added leverage.

I know the downsides of wheel spacers. Personally I would never use them on a vehicle that sees the street. This is a cheap woods beater.

just wondering how wide I can go. 3 would be ideal. Not sure if 2 would work.
