1978 DANA 44 axle geared 4.88's $150***sold***

I have one, knuckle to knuckle, currently with 4.88 gears, ready to roll with your shafts (no shafts come with it). Newer ball joints, good seals and bearings. You take it all minus calipers. Set up to be 6 lug now but new rotors and hubs it can be 5 lug. $150 firm


It has cast wedges for raduis arms.

with the cast wedges you cannt grind them down far enough to fit links on there can you?

no you cant grind them down. they are pretty thick, and it would take some serious grinding if you did. it holds the two piece tubes together. strength would be too compromised. either run extended radius arms or re-tube it.

was the locker a drop in or a full carrier??? im just trying to figure out if i will have to reset gears or just throw some spiders in?
