It seems to run pretty good. I havent really done anything to it since i started driving it a month or two ago. It is over geared with 4.10 and stock dia tires, i had the cruise set at 70 on the highway for about a couple of hours 2500 rpm the whole time. The gearing is nice for towing though since i really dont tow over 65 anyways but would have better economy with different gearing. I would like to find an old brownie box to put behind the tcase then i would have more gearing options and still keep the low gearing for towing. The stock turbo doesnt like how i have the pump fueling now so i worked out a deal with a diesel shop too build me a hybrid turbo out of used parts in trade for the cummins trans that came with the motor. The custom shifter i made was noisy as hell so i drilled a hole and filled it full of silicone and that quieted it right down. I did also have to put a new ignition switch in it too.

list of things to do when i have time

locate and fix power steering leak (i think the steering box)
all new brakes on front
put fan back on ( yes i have been driving it with no fan on the motor, cools quite easily)
some suspension work, prob not air bags tired of working on it for now
install the pyro and boost gauges

Yea been doing small stuff on it while driving it. New hybrid turbo, got air conditioning g working, put a roll pan on it and moved hitch up behind roll pan, and lots of other small things that a truck with 250,000 miles on it needs. It is getting dropped off at painters Friday so I will post some pics when I get it back from painter.

Don't paint it, never seen a cop truck like that before! Just get a pillar light on both sides then it would be complete!

All blitz I hope!?

I have the same truck...I just order the mounts from Blake's today and the NV4500 should be done next week. I can't wait to get started on it. Did you ever do the bags in the front end?

No I got burned out on the project and just wanted to drive it for a while. The truck is lowered now though I did 4" hanger drop on the rear and machined out the torsion bar crossmember to lower the front.

I can't remember tire size off the top of my head. They are stock diameter just wider and on a h2 wheel

Yes it is a blast to drive, it's no big power house but tows good and is fun to drive. Im still gonna go farther on the full fuel screw just haven't had time to mess with it. Yes it is my daily driver tow vehicle. It gets around 16 normal driving and 13 towing but I drive it hard all the time and the 4.10 gears with short tires kill mpg.

What do you tow with it? I pull a 14ft enclosed (11,000 lbs. truck and trailer) around all day with mine and the 5.7 sucks!!!! I also have a 31ft 5th wheel camper. 13 towing would be nice I was hoping for a little more to be honest.
