Default Mounds 9-5-11 Lots of pics

Went to check out the new rock courses with Onlyinmyxj22 and another buddy. Had a great time and had a blast on the new slab. Onlyinmyxj22 was able to make the Slab course with no trouble. Our buddy had a broken axle shaft and I'm only on 33s with no lockers, so we didn't try it. I did get a few pics of mine at the top of the slab. And had to end the day with a obligatory poser pic.

Hope to head back next Sunday.

RDK_YJ88,

Thanks for the pics and vids....

Were you able to get over the peak, or did the break over get you?

I am dying to try it but I have only about 4 inches of lift and 31's...with F&R ARBs and a good belly skid.

I would have been able to keep going, but I didn't want to run it with out lockers and rock sliders. In the pics and vid the peak was already past my t-case skid (which rubbed a little).

Here's a pic of my Skid at the top.

By this time my rear wheels were going up which would only gain me clearance.

Thanks... Sounds like I have a shot at it... and I might not wind up balanced up there like a party trick.

My favorite part is when the hitch drags on the ground when going up

I am not sure if you were there today but there was a period of time today that I could not back down the slab because of the hitch and could not get traction to go up.

I was there for 3-4 minutes... felt like forever that I all that i could do search for the traction.... Finally it caught and it was like going up in an elevator.
