Default Best Gas Mileage 2003 5.7

I've got a 2003 Ram with the hemi and I'm trying to figure out what I can do to get the best gas mileage out of it...I've got a CAI and keep the pressure right in my tires...

Is there an exhaust set-up that will sound better than stock while improving my gas mileage?

What other "inexpensive" things can I do to improve my gas mileage?

I have the same truck, the MPG's suck. I average about 11.5-12 MPG. When I tow with it it really starts to suck.
I would say the best way to save money on gas is to park the truck and ride your bike.

If i am good and keep it under 65 on the way to work and don't have to do any other running around i can average 17 with mine. but i think i have only pulled that off for one tank. I drive like an old man most of the time but if i have to make a short trip into town or between the two buildings at work it kills my mpg. normally average 15. there is not much you can do, you can't even play the how long can i keep it running on 4 cylinders game with your truck.

the hardest thing is keeping your foot out of the pedal. Its hard not to with a hemi. I get 16-21 no problem . 21 when being nice on the peal and driving the speed limit on the freeway. most average around 17..is your truck a 1500 or 2500, that makes a difference to.

let me ask this. 1/2 ton or 3/4?
if its a half ton I can see that it should get decent mileage. if its a 3/4 it would not have MDS and would be in the 10-13 range no matter what you do.
