you're either driving it like you stole it or you got mike hancho the highcenter king of superduties with bad fuel mileage type issues.

I pull anywhere from 15-22 empty, typically 18. 10 towing occasionally 14.

The pics you posted on FB of your truck look great roger, is it all stock?

My truck is still running strong, with the 20's and bigger tires I've lost some MPG, im usually 17 or less now but im still satisfied with the overall upgrades. Im collecting parts for the upcoming paint work. I still want to put a locker up front and a Detroit in the rear.

Why?

I get all of the other stuff you have done. But why do something like that? All that's going to do is give you the ability to put the truck in situations where you will fukc it up.

Leave the truck a DD and tow rig and put your efforts into the TJ. It sounded kinda like you were over the hump with the TJ...why not finish it off?

Its actually quite easy, hardest part are getting some snap rings off and pulling the axle shaft out, Very straight forward and pretty simple

Locking this truck front and rear is just stupid.

depends on if you are talking to an idiot or someone who is realistic in their expectations.

I've seen 21 mpg, but I very rarely get that lucky. 17-18 is average and more realistic.

Did some slight upgrades to my truck over the last few weeks. First was I put on some pocket style fender flares to keep off the road garbage off my truck. Second was I installed a MUCH larger 6.0 tranny cooler to replace my leaking tiny 7.3 trans cooler. It's a pretty straight forward swap, I had to take out my larger 6.0 inner cooler for the install so I could reposition it from when I put it in a few months ago. I also installed a new glow plug relay.

If you were ever interested in doing the larger 6.0 inner cooler/trans cooler upgraded, I'd suggest doing them at the same time, will save you alot more time in the long run.

What glow plug relay you bought?

For those people who got less mpg. Check fuel filter housing and gas tank to make sure it not leak diesel.
