Default Media ignoring Ron Paul

I thought there was a thread about it but I couldn't find it. But I found this headline interesting:

Poll: Romney leads New Hampshire, Huntsman in third, Perry in fourth

What about who came in second? It was Ron Paul of course.

Did you even hear about the california straw poll? It didn't even make the news...

September 17, 2011|By the CNN Wire Staff

Texas Rep. Ron Paul won a California straw poll, the state Republican Party announced in a statement Saturday night.

A total of 833 ballots were cast during the straw poll, the statement said.

Paul won with 44.9% of the votes, Texas Gov. Rick Perry came in second with 29.3% of the votes, and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney came in third with 8.8% of the votes.

The California Republican Party, associated members and registered guests were allowed to vote in the straw poll, according to the statement.

Thats more like a blow out than just a win...

His donation bombs as he calls them is raking in the money! I think this last one was like 1.2m and he has something to almost 5mill in the bank now.

Sitting here watching the debate. He's doing better tonight. But on top of that, I can't see why Perry is leading the race.

God, please let Ron Paul win so that the government isn't led by fucktards.

Amen

lol. I hope they continue to ignore him, because if he's the republican candidate, he wouldn't stand a chance.

We'll see. I don't know much about him but if he's being ignored this much he must be interesting.

Research Ross Perot, and what happened to him.

Then fast forward to 2012, and that is what will happen to Ron Paul.

He has GREAT ideas, and he would be an awesome president, however he does not connect with the "swing" voters.. The need to provide a semi-moderate person to be successful.

Assuming that some combination of the current 9 candidates will end up being the president and vice presidential team, my best guess for electability and what I would like to see would be Mitt and Herman.
I don't like Perry or Bachman and I don't think Paul can make it happen. Actually, all the others are pretty decent.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epo...bama-1750.html

RCP has it at 47% Obama 41.7% Paul

http://www.dailypaul.com/175880/rasm...ts-later-today

Rasmussen has it at 39% Obama 38% Paul

That's a statistical dead heat, well within the margin of error. Give Obama his last year to suck even more ass and it won't be a problem.

Ron Paul wins another straw poll. The media largely ignores or discounts the win as a set up. The spin continues....
