Default 1976 M35a2 Bobbed Dump 4x4

1976 AM General M35a2
I have owned this truck for seven years and it by far is my favor truck I own. However it does not fit in the family plan so it needs to go to a good home. Last year I “bobbed” (removed one rear axle) the truck and converted it to a dump bed. The truck went through a six month rebuild from the ground up, including an LDS engine swap. For those of you who don’t know the m35a2 come with a LDT-465-1c, which is rated @ 170 HP and 330 ft lbs torque. While the LDS-465-1A is rated @205 HP and 440 ft lbs of torque. This LDS came out of a m543a2 wrecker with only 9,800 miles on it. The engine runs great and has lots of power. Listed below are all the things that have been done to the truck.
• All new wheel bearings and seals (excluding front axle boots)
• Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and air pack have been rebuilt or replace
• Remote master cylinder reservoir installed
• “Brake Lock” installed (holds all four brakes, great for winching or parking on steep hills)
• Gauges all work. New Tachograph installed. New Stewart Werner oil pressure gauge. Has boost and pyrometer gauges (pyrometer needs new sender)
• Has the rare dual out putt PTO. Front out putt controls the winch 2 speed forward, neutral, reverse. Rear out putt goes to hydraulic pump for bed.
• Exterior of the truck has been completely cleaned and painted
• All lights work Brand new rear harness. Installed running lights, rear work lights and spot light.
• 24 volt to 12 volt inverter installed runs the cb radio can also be used for other things like radio or cigarette outlet
• 395 85r 20 Michelin xml radial tire on M135 rims installed with New radial tubes and flaps.
• Has Tool box/ spare tire rack behind cab of a m818 5 ton tractor
• 15 gpm hydraulic pump, scissor style dump hoist, 2 spool valve bank with auxiliary valve.
• Lds engine swap
• Air compressor rebuilt
• Generator was rebuilt
• New rear main seal

Other features includes, Five speed overdrive Transmission, 2 speed hi-lo transfer case, Cab Heater, Hard top shell with rear sliding window, 12,000lb pto winch, dump box, cb radio, Driver and Passenger spring ride seats, Batterys are only 2 years old.

Sale price is $10,000 FIRM includes Truck, M105 Trailer< and whatever spare parts I have laying around.
Truck is sold as with NO Warranty expressed.

Forgive my ignorance but is the replacement engine the mutli fuel i keep hearing about? ...and the ridiculous question, is it as economical as a dump truck fuel wise or is it somewhat conservative

This is wicked. May have to give you a call if my bike sells. Although I'm not sure I'd have anywhere to park it!

Nice work, looks great.
