Finishing up the rear truss.

Painted it with Rustoleum Hammered Silver. Brushed it on with a "Dabbing" motion.

Got the 3rd member and brake backing plates painted up. I was going to convert to disc's, but drums will be cheaper, and I didn't want to run into any clearance problems with the calipers and leaf springs. Eventually I'll look into it further.

Looking good. Did you end up shaving it?

Thanks! I did shave it, but not very much. With only the 3" of lift, my pinion angle wasn't very steep so I wasn't able to take a whole lot off. I basically just made the bottom parallel to the ground. I'll get some pics later today.

Couple more additions to the rear axle.

Breather hose:

Kind of upset on how off center this turned out. But it's in a spot that's not very visible, so I'll live with it.

Brake line mount:

A little more progress. It's a little different than the rear truss, but I happened to have a piece of tube already bent that I was able to just cut to fit. Oh well, once everything is on it, you won't even notice.
