Thanks!. No, it's not tied into the interior cage there.

Cutting out the Drivers side skin.

For the long straight cuts I used a metal disc on my 7" circular saw. This worked very well on the thin sheet metal. For that smaller rounded cuts, I used my 4.5" grinder with a cut off wheel.

Is it low in the back or just an illusion?

You're right, you do need to open the rear wheel wells

It's low in the back. About an inch lower. All the tires have different pressures too, from crap in the beads.

Update. Picked up a set of the JCR rear corner guards/ tail light boxes. These things are top notch. Very easy to install and fit great. Wiring the lights was stupid easy with the factory light sockets labeling the wires. I probably could have built these, but for the price it wasn't worth the hassle. I was also able to save some money on the LED lights by sourcing them locally.

Also built a new mirror for the Drivers side. Trying to make it a little more street legal for cruising around town this summer. Easily removable for trail rides.

Also put on a new radiator cap and fixed a broken wire for the fan. Ready for the trails now.

Nice! I have a set of them also I will be putting on this week too. They are really well built. I need to match the wheel opening to mine before I can install. Where did you get the lights And do you have the part numbers to share?

I just picked them up at O'rielly's, but I'm sure autozone has something similar too. I'll check for the part numbers. I used smaller lights on the sides, so I had to fill in the hole and redrill a 3/4" hole.

I found what I needed on eBay. Did you need a different flasher or did the Jeep flasher work okay?

It works but it flashes quickly. For the rare occasions ill drive it on the road, it will be fine. If there's a cheap easy fix for it, let me know, I'll fix it.
