I bought everything (except the axles shafts) from a guy I work with. He rebuilt it.

Building some extensions for the front bump stops inside the coilovers. Decided it was a good time to play with the new TIG machine. Extending them around 2.5". They were much softer than I anticipated.

Installed the first one. Here's a picture so you get an idea of what I did. These should get me by until I can afford some air bumps.

Thanks! I'm still trying to get used to the new welder. It has a very bulky torch that I'm not used too.

What did you do with your washer bottle when you cut those inner fenders out?

The doors have seen their last days on the Jeep. They were beat up, didn't fit right, hard to open, etc. So off they went!

This new design should strengthen the cage up some too.

Poster board template. Will be skinned with 12g steel. I wanted aluminum, but it was out of the budget and I didn't want to cringe every time I smashed it into a tree.

I like that. Are you thinking one piece front to back or a couple pieces? One piece would be cleaner, but a couple pieces would easier to repair.

Looks good. Did you screw it or rivet it?
