Nope, built those myself. Same design though.

Finally making some progress.

Finished up the floor, splashed some rustoleum brush on paint. Dirty already.

Hours after starting, the doors decided to finally come off. Man its rusty.

Yep, still rusty.

Started to cut it out. I cut all the way up to the sill, which will require the doors to be trimmed.

Drilled holes on the top side for more welding surface.

Same for the back door.

So boat sides out of the question then or what? Chop, cut, and wheel, repeat!

I thought about it, but I didn't think they would look good on a Jeep that's only running 33's. I'll gain some clearance with the ones I'm building though.

Possible new rocker/slider design. Would be made out of 3/16" plate if I decide to go this way, because I have almost a whole 4x8 sheet of it already.

I like the idea/look, but how will you tie it in? If you did it like the pic the leverage from whatever obstacle would push it up easily. I think a few legs tied back to the frame would be necessary.

That's what I have been looking into. It will need "Fish bone" pieces inside the rocker to support the bottom. These pieces would give it the characteristics similar to box tube. Once I build the Hybrid cage off of it, it would get supports that go from the "frame" to the slider, and support the B-pillar tube of the cage in the middle. I think it is supportable though.

Alright here's my progress on the new rockers.

After taking measurements from the small sheet metal piece, I transferred them to the 3/16 plate.

Next, I marked the slots I wanted to cut out. First i drilled a small hole in the start and end of each line. The white lines will be cut.

Once those were cut using the plasma cutter, I started the bending process. I used the small sheet metal piece as a guide.

Once I finally got it all bent, I added some ribs inside.

Still need to go and weld up and smooth out the seems I cut, and make "caps" for the ends. The ends will be tapered to follow the wheel arches.

Thoughts, comments, concerns?

Progress. Lots of welding left to do. Plus the driverside.

Liking the sliders. Are you going to weld it along the underside too?

Yes, I left 1" of the pinch weld seam that I folded over and welded the length of the slider.

Completely welded up now. Time to move onto the drivers side.
