Default SOLD!!!1996 yamaha vmax xt 600 (snowmobile)

i got a 1996 yahmaha vmax xt 600 snowmobile. it runs great. it has never been apart. it has the xt pro action plus suspension. runs real good, and rides nice for its age. has a little over 8k miles(ill get the exact number when i go get pics). the proaction plus suspension was a big upgrade. it rides pretty good, and has alot more travel than most sleds of that era. its blue and dont look too bad. i have the cover, but it has a couple holes in the rear of it. the track is still pretty good and is studded(144 pattern). the studs are old , but i have not seen any pull throughs. its a newer kimpex track, we put it on about 4 years ago. it dont have very many miles on it. it will run about 100mph top speed. heated grips work great, and are adjustable. the yamaha 600 twins are great engines. they run forever and make good power. factory horsepower was 98 when new. get ready for winter early. ill post pics as soon as i can, its in storage in my father in laws garage. it has all new scissor links in the front, and a bushing kit to tighten up the steering. i put on new brakes, and surfaced the rotor last season. it has a newer rear main shock on it too.
if it will fit ya, ill throw in the matching coat for it. its a large. its a little tight on me, but useable.
im 5'7" 195, if your bigger than that forget it.

$750.00 obo

yes, its not easy being this sexy!

its in pretty good shape for an older sled. runs real well, and its not slow.
not fast by todays standards, but definately not slow. tops out near 100 on the speedo.
the engine is bone stock, and never needed anything. i did all the exhaust gaskets last year cause the were leaking. yamaha twins are very durable, their triples not so much. the primary spring on the main shock is adjusted too tight. im gonna try to adjust it, its in a tight spot. otherwise its ready to ride anywhere.

last season it impressed me. we took trail 7 north out of gaylord to mackinaw and back.
its a rails to trails trail. wide, flat, and fast! we ran near wide open the whole way. it preformed flawlessly. you could find a nicer sled if you like going slow. or you could find a fast sled tha needs alot of work and aint this nice.

its a 93 indy trail 488 fan. 13k miles, and runs like a top. swaped in extra 12suspension, and plastic skis, cobra windshield, fox shoxs on rear, studded track, tank bag, 2" bar riser, clutched, ect.... i cant sell it though. all the cool parts on it are not mine. its a spare sled we let everyones kids ride on.
its really not worth much, so why would we sell it? it wont die either, just runs and runs. burns very little gas or oil, its cheap to ride. with the clutch kit, plastic skis, and the extra 12 rear skid its kinda fun to ride for an old beater. pulls the skis up pretty well. very light weight sled, tops out at about 82 mph with me on it in perfect conditions. deep snow really slows it down though.
