you should be able to say something that isnt positive of another race or ethnic group and not be labeled a racist or xenophobe etc.

I routinely make fun of mexicans and beaners of all nations (i am spanish and argentinian), i honestly hate the nation of france (i am white but not french thank god !), make fun of blacks, albanians, recent imigrants with crazy wierd habits, etc. Some of my best friends have been imigrants, i love everyone and would not hesitate to marry outside my race (i have dated asian chics and i wasnt offended by that post bill) and i dont think any of my non white friends take offense to any joke i make cause they know i love everyone .... (Except commies, the french, illegal imigrants and people who support affirmitive action)

That wasnt racist cause bill didnt even make an observation other than they were "silly" haggar. And even if he said "stupid jackass asians" i would have assumed he meant the guys in the video not the 2 billion other asians.

Of course I have learned... I am proud of my heritage, and that symbol happens to be a part of it.

Does it mean I hate races, no... actually here at work I work with several different races and more often than not get into discussions with them to learn about their culture.

I am an American with German descent... however if you actually knew anything and did your research you may realize the Swastika is actually a symbol of good dating way back prior to the Neo Nazi's exploiting it...

FYI

The History of the Swastika

The swastika is an extremely powerful symbol. The Nazis used it to murder millions of people, but for centuries it had positive meanings. What is the history of the swastika? Does it now represent good or evil?

The Oldest Known Symbol

The swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for over 3,000 years. (That even predates the ancient Egyptian symbol, the Ankh!) Artifacts such as pottery and coins from ancient Troy show that the swastika was a commonly used symbol as far back as 1000 BCE.

During the following thousand years, the image of the swastika was used by many cultures around the world, including in China, Japan, India, and southern Europe. By the Middle Ages, the swastika was a well known, if not commonly used, symbol but was called by many different names:

China - wan
England - fylfot
Germany - Hakenkreuz
Greece - tetraskelion and gammadion
India - swastika
Though it is not known for exactly how long, Native Americans also have long used the symbol of the swastika.
The Original Meaning

The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix.

Until the Nazis used this symbol, the swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.

Another FYI Scott... just because your a German does not make you a Neo Nazi...

many native american cultures also used a symbol that looked like the Nazi swastika. Most times the native american version is considered a sign of good luck.

The meaning of symbols change as well as the meaning of words change. The rainbow used to be a symbol of luck now its synonimous for gay rights. Just like the word gay used to mean happy.

You say you act the same online as you do in person. But, I doubt you would parade around town with a swastika flag.
