Default Air Force Jeep Pedal Car

I just bought this 1950's Jeep pedal car that I am going to redo for my grandson. Not sure what color I will paint it yet. The one thing that will be hard to find is some tires for it. It should be fun to do tho. Here are some pic's maybe someone could help me find tires.

Outstanding find. It would be better as a full restore, but if not, a miniature scrambler could be done.

Yeah it has been hanging in my friends garage for a few years now, I did not think he would sell it.

I will like to restore close to original. But will change a few things so that it means something to my grandson. like maybe do the numbers on the front in his date of birth.

I just did a quick internet search and found several sites that had the exact car some restored and some original. I'm not sure what color was original but I think there is only one choice.... military green.

If you could send me a link that would be awesome. I only found two that was the same as what I have. I really need to find someone who sells that same tire as the one that is on it.

Keep the patina, make it functional, let the kid have fun!
Make it a restoration project when the kids get too old to use it.
