Talking Tread Lightly!'s "Respected Access" Campaign - PSAs

Here is a preview of our Respected Access is Open Access campaign PSAs that were recently released. The Respected Access campaign focuses on other issues on public lands such as recreational shooting, private land access, invasive species, and so on.

Just like with the Ride On materials, if your club or agency would like to use these as part of your outreach, please contact us: justin@treadlightly.org

Thanks again for your help.

And if you catch up with me at an event, I have free "Respected access is open access" bumper stickers courtesy of Tread Lightly!

I guess I'm a little slow today. You have a respected access is open sticker across pics of things that are posted closed. I don't get it.

Well, if it's not absolutely crystal clear to the casual observer, it doesn't do much good.

Good question... (I guess it's a question??? haha)

But the answer is:

Correct. Its not necessarily posted "closed", its posted as private property. We strongly encourage people to obtain permission before venturing onto private lands, whether that is for hunting, OHV, frisbee golf, etc.

(Your confusion has been noted, however... and passed on to others on staff. The "casual observer" point is important)
