Default Bedliner preferences.

I've done a little research but nothing to sway me definitely toward an answer. I went to the local Line-X place and Rhino place. Line-X wants like $485 to do a longbed, Rhino wants like $439 or something. Add about $85 for over the rail. This is a longbed GMC Sierra.
I am not convinced doing this. It is definitely worth it, the stuff is about 3/16 thick, but just not for this truck.
My question is what is your preference, considering bang for the buck as well.
I am debating doing this myself but have yet to find a spray-on bedliner that would be comparable to the professional stuff, especially locally. I used Duplicolor in the quart, which sucked, and Rustoleum in the rattle can, which went on really nicely but basically feels like sandpaper and I'd need probably 8 coats to make it that thick.
Other option is just a plastic liner. Sure it could rust the bed out but this is San Diego, and this truck already has the swiss cheese treatment from the previous owner who had a 5th wheel hitch, headache rack, aluminum side caps, etc. on it. Thanks.

LineX FTW!

I have had everything from plastic inserts to Herculiner, Duplicolor, SEM, etc.

Nothing looks as good, holds up as well or last as long as Line X.

It is the first "upgrade" I do to any truck I have now and will do every one of them in the future as well.
