Default where to get for best price?

recently broke my first axle shaft at yankee lake i want to upgrade now i looked on bronco grave yard they want about 200 for both shafts on eitherside for a yukon chromoly i have a dana 44 hp in a 78 bronco also curious if anyone knows what the biggest gear i could run with my 3:55 carrier id like to put 4:56 in it

I think 4.56 need a different carrier but i am not positive, i just can not remember if that was the lowest you could go on a stock carrier or if that was the highest gearing you could run on the different carrier.

Bronco graveyard tends to be one of the best on prices fwiw, not saying there are not better deals to be had but i just know everything i have ever bought from there was priced well.

You can go up to a 5:13 if you buy "thick cut" gears.
