Default Cabela's XPG Ridgelight XST tent. anyone have one?

or know someone who has one? 3 person tent. like this one:

:

http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/searc...tem1=IK-517578

I have one, but the poles are all jacked up. Its a nice tent so I want to order some. I just need some measurements. Cabela's doesn't have any info or specs on it. and its not made anymore.

It might be a stretch but I had to ask.

Just measure your poles and go get some. REI and other places sell replacements. I hear the interwebs also sell similar things.

I don't have the correct poles for this tent. I want to have some made or get some for it, but I need to find one so I can get the correct measurements.

Get the tent model number and contact Cabela's, if they can't order new poles for the tent I would recommend not buying tents from them. I have always been able to order poles through Coleman for all three of the tents I've needed replacements for. If they can't support their own product then don't buy from them.

that is a boat load of help, next time. But right now he is kinda up a shitty creeek with out a paddle unless he can find some support from cabela's or the correct length of his poles to get new ones.

New poles are easy to find once you know the length.

I have the model of the tent and have contacted cabela's. they don't have replacements because they dont' make this tent anymore. and they don't have any notes on the lengths of the poles.

exactly, I just thought maybe someone might have one that I could get some measurements off of, because there are lots of places I can get sections of poles and make my own or have someone make whole pole sets.

Its worth a shot. Its a nice tent, once I can use it.

Might be a pain in the ass to make the poles, website says it is a one piece pole system(arched pole on the sides it looks like). Where are your originals?

That's a bunch of bullshit. Guess this means I won't be buying a tent from them, ever.

I'm sure they don't have the lengths because they just put their logo on a private label manufacturer's tent, i.e. they didn't actually design and build it. Maybe if you can figure that out you can contact that company for replacements? Long shot though.

If you do end up needing a new tent Steep and Cheap has been having a ton of them lately. I've been really happy with my Sierra Designs tent.

yeah I thought they might have re badged one and did some searching but I can't find any that are like it or anyone saying what company cabelas uses.

they shouldn't be hard to build. the problem is I have a set of poles for a 2 person configuration and i have a tent for the 3 person.

All I need is the lengths and I can make the rest.
