Warrior Dash times, thoughts and comments

My time was 40:53.90 not to bad for not training at all. I had a great time and will definitely be doing it again. I'm thinking that I will do a little training before the next one though. I didn't really have any problems with any of the obstacles but was real winded after dead weight drifter. After that I was jogging then walking to catch my breath then jogging again.

All in all though I think that Red Frog Events did a great job with everything. We got there a while before our wave because we thought that check in was going to be a long process but it only took a minute or two.

Ran the 4 pm wave in 43:59. They really put on a great event. I will definitely be doing it again and again and again. It is one of the few races I won't miss

Thumbs up

I don't know my time. I ran with a group of 7 other friends and we all decided to stay together. A few in the group were very slow, so the rest of us had to stop after each obstacle and wait for the slowpokes to catch up. I know we got lapped by the leaders from the following wave. I thought the event was a blast and look forward to doing it again next year.

The Warrior Dash is like any other 5k in the sense that it becomes what you make it depending upon how you run the race. If you walk to each obstacle and amble over the obstacles it really is a fun and non-challenging event. If you run the entire course and look to get under 25 minutes it will be a challenge.

I think that with the heat we had any time below 40 min was pretty good.

forgot to check lol, my brothe had 38 something and he was just getting out of the last pit as i got in so just shy of 40 i would guess. we just had fun and dicked around, so not bad considering i smoke a pack a day and havent ran more than a mile in 2 years lol.

and starting at the end of the pack reallly sucked, was like a herd of cattle for the first 3 obstacles. some poeple in the dash really made me feel good about myself tho

It took me an hour, was intending to run it with a few friends, but they all took off and my wife could not keep up, so I stayed back with her. If I would have kept up with my friends they ran just under 50mins. Obstacles were not all that difficult, looking forward for next year!

I was a little slower than I hoped for. 56 minutes. Jumping feet first into the mud pit at the end cost me a few minutes but overall it was a great time. We will be there again next year. By then I hope to be 30-40 minutes.

Not too bad for me since I just started training in June and I have never been a runner. I am going to do the Swampfoot 4 Mile and the Dirty Dog Dash. I hope to cut some time by then.
