Default trailer axle help please

ok guys i got a car hauler trailer. i need to replace the brakes on the left side as the back plates are all bent to shit as it got hit. i also need to figure out these are all put togather. does anyone have a exploded view of a 3500 pound trailer axle so i can look at them to figure out what parts i do actually need. the trailer isnt near me to take a look and figure it out.


any help will be greatly appreciated.

ya i was looking on their site a bit ago. i need the new back plates but i know the brakes come on them. which is great. but i also need to see how the bearings and all that go togather to see what else i need. i pulled it like a block around the property and it blew the cast hub up on the front axle so i need to replace all the bearings and what not to. so im curious to see what all i would need before i make an order

x2 on buying new. Most any larger RV center carries complete assemblies. In your area, General RV in Birch Run would be a good bet.

If you pulled it around, why didn't you pull the parts right then?

its at a place where i cannt leave it sit taken apart. its at a dealer ship right now. i dont wannt spend a ton of money on this project. would it be best to just replace the axles that are just bolt in and go? what kinda price would i be looking at for them?
