Default Raining kittens and puppies.

at 5:18am, it rained at my house at a rate of 7.43/in per hour for three minutes . This is three inches/hr harder then my weather station has ever recorded.

Dixie highway was a lake. m-15 was a lake, and I-75 was huge puddles.

Telegraph was completely closed at the intersection of Pontiac Lake Road/County Center Drive at about 6:45 this morning. They were making traffic circle all the way through on County Center Drive. I guess they are letting one lane of traffic through on Telegraph headed south now though.

One positive aspect of all this heavy rain all at once: It alerted me to a leak in my roof!

Yes it is! Got here at 6 this morning only to find that the water jet that is tied into the rooftop drains had a 5' geyser coming out of it. The whole shop in building 3 is flooded.

We had a ton of lighting last night. Like 5 hours worth. It rained but not that hard.

I bet your wife wishes the weather station wasn't the only thing that registered 3 inches per hour harder.

Do you know if there is power around Dixie and I-75?

you were either in front of me, or behind me. I too was in that illegal left turn onto the clover leaf debacle.

telegraph at Elizabeth Lake should have had at least the west side lanes closed, as the summit place mall's retention basin overflowed and was flooding that intersection as well.

wonder if Ford makes a snorkel kit for the Taurus X...

there was when I went through there much earlier this morning (6:30ish)

traffic light, and the few businesses south of the exit ramp were all lit up.

Cool thanks! Just want to make sure there is power to my sump pump in my new house. When I left last night there was.

Auburn and Opdyke had a couple feet of water across the intersection. The restaurant right there was flooded atleast 2' deep. Smelled like poo poo too. Pontiac Treatment plant is right across the street. (not sure if that will help or hurt the food there)

Wow, I totally misread the thread title. I thought it said raping kittens and puppies.

For some reason I still clicked on it.

Yeah it poured in Orchard Lake last night and this morning.

That intersection has done that any time we get a good rain since as far back as I can remember. As for the Country Kitchen, I don't think the place smells any different this morning that any other morning.

Actually, I was just at the dealership at that intersection, and it's up and running.
