Default (2) 4x4 NV 3500's $300 FOR BOTH TODAY

I have (2) Chevy 32 spline NV 3500's for sale, possibly trade if you have something sweet, mud tires? 8/20 $300 for both, can bring to woodward

1) is a used GM Re-man tranny $450

2) I had in my truck, is out of a 92 and it banged 2nd but still worked fine and has brand new syncromesh in it. $150

call or text for details, Gary 248 722 6314

Tranny's are currently in Marquette but I will be heading to the Metro Detroit area From the U.P. approximately the 3rd week of August.

and can you verify these are 3500s from 93+? the earlier 87-92 transmissions LOOK like the 3500 and are ofter mistaken for the 3500 but are not 3500s.. the internals are signifantly different (and better) on the 3500 (like 1 shift rail on the 3500 vs. 4 rails on the earlier ones)

the 5LM60 or the HM290 or NV 3500? i'm not sure but definitely of the NV3500 type. i'd be happy to provide pics or numbers off of them IIRC. They'yre stick chev trannies that'll probably last behind any stock 350. I've seen s10 3500 type trannies get beat to shit behind 350's and they held up. i would go sm465 or nv4500 personally, and I did. but 45's are like a thousand bucks and seem to be mostly of the dodge type that require expensive conversion stuff and hydraulic 465's are kinda hard to find plus no overdrive so these are kind of the only other option and still a decent tranny with overdrive. i'll grab you measurements in a sec, i swear they're the same length as 700r4's.

i got 26 5/8" ish from piece of wood on the back to face on both 5 speeds and the 700r4 with the extension housing. let me know if you would like anything else

edit: the one that bumps 2nd is out of a stock 92 truck, i pulled the pedals from it and the other i'm not sure, the junkyard had it pulled on the shelf and said it was out of a running driving truck.

and these are both external slave btdubbs

sorry one more thing. my thoughts are i mostly wheel my xj 2nd gear 4 low so the one that bumps 2nd would be fine as you would be in 2nd and downshift when things get sticky and as it still up shifts whatever. it's slightly annoying but i would've kept it in if i hadn't got a 4500 and a 465

bump for the am web wheelers. I 've had 4 buddies that ran these same type of trannies flawlessly in different rigs, and I just started to put one into another truck yesterday.

bump, just finished the swap of one of the same type of trannies into a 6 inch lifted chev on 35's yesterday. runs and drives good.

I'll be heading from the UP to the metro detroit area in a week to a week and a half and plan on bringing these down and greatlakes ing or craigslist ing them.

bump, sitting, staring at these downstate. possibly willing to trade for random other shit, D60 outer stuff, tires, 350 sb's, ford/chev 400 sb's. try me on what you got. text it preferably. only reason i'm not running the bump 2nd one still is because i bought and pulled, an inventory of stick chev drivetrains. ended up with a nv4500 for the dd that's installed and a sm465 for the future project. otherwise i would've swapped in the gm reman maybe and at least kept the other for a future s10 blazer build.
