I'm moving one of my long-term projects out of my garage and into storage, since it's outside for the first time in 10 or so years I thought I'd snap a pic or two and see if there is any interest.

$8000 OBO, this is a serious project, so serious inquires only, I don't need to sell it, just kinda sick of seeing it sit untouched, not interested in trades, but I do have a weakness for M715's, flatty's, '66-67 Chevy II's, old guns...

I have owned this truck since '97, bought it from the company I used to work for with 129K on it. This was a survey truck for Wilcox Associates and was meticulously maintained and parked indoors for the first six years of it's life. I bought it, lifted it, put a built 355 in it, repainted it, hit the dunes with it, and daily drove it, including back and forth from Farmington Hills to Alpena. When the small block blew up (cracked block in the lifter valley) I parked it and started tearing it down, it has been parked since '99-'00 (tags expired Nov '00). I bought a GM 502HO in 2000 and provided bonuses for the employees of Summit Racing for the next couple years. I ran out of ambition on the project and it hasn't seen any physical progress in at least eight years.

I will list more specs as I get time and as I remember them.

The truck:
1991 GMC K2500 SLE, regular cab, long box, vinyl floor, red bench seat, manual windows and locks, tilt wheel, 159k miles on body, 99.9% rust free, ridiculous clean. The outside of the truck was repainted '98 Ruby pearl metallic in 1998, the engine bay was repainted the same color when I tore it down. The front fenders are primed and jammed in, the rest of the truck has quite a bit of garage rash and needs paint, but has no damage or rust thru. Interior is quite nice, but the vinyl floor needs to be replaced. Stillwater "Kicker" speakers in the stock locations, and (2) Kicker truck boxes behind the seat, Kenwood amp. Grant wheel painted body color, pillar guage pods with Autometer Sport-Comp tach and trans temp. All new glass with factory soft tint, solid back window. I have matching inner door panels and all the door guts from a '93 Tahoe with electric windows and locks and an overhead console.

FF 14-bolt rear, 4.56's & Detroit (need to be reinstalled), set up for disks, but the calipers are missing, and one of the caliper brackets is on loan to Tab or Creative Fab (Pat).

GM 9.25 IFS front, 4.56's, diff housing needs to be reinstalled

Pro-Comp 6" suspension lift, been on there for roughly 20k miles, includes rear AAL & block, and traction bars.

3" body lift, been on there for roughly 30k miles, front and rear bumpers are raised to match.

Pro-Comp light bar with Dick Cepek 8" round lights.


The parts (most parts are new, unused, some mounted, some still in the boxes):

2000 GM Performance parts 502HO, 450hp, 550ft-lbs...ZERO HOURS, never been fired, painted body color with aluminum accents.

Rebuilt 4L80E with custom shift kit, high stall conv, B&M Deep pan, 2wd tailshaft, ZERO HOURS since rebuild, painted body color with aluminum ribs on the pan.

TCI trans computer, NIB

Holley 900cfm Pro-jection with laptop software, NIB

March polished serpentine pulleys and brackets, installed, ZERO HOURS.

185 Amp alternator, case painted body color, ZERO HOURS

Hooker Super-Comp headers, ceramic coated, installed with Stage 8 locking fasteners, ZERO HOURS

MSD 6AL, MSD Pro-Billet HEI, GM Performace wires and looms, installed, ZERO HOURS

Blaster coil and HEI kit, NIB

Pre-luber electric external oil pump/accumulator, installed but not wired, ZERO HOURS

(2) FlowTech "Warlock" 3" mufflers with cutouts, New

K&N air cleaner, filter, and pre-filter.

Stainless braided hoses, some Aeroquip fittings, some Spectre fitting style hose clamps.

Clarion RDX765Dz head unit, NIB

New ball joints, wheel bearings, tie-rods, idler arm, pitman arm, etc. some installed, some not.

Used, dissassembled Ford divorced mount NP205 transfer case, all 1350 yokes.

15x10 chrome wagon wheels with the centers blasted and painted body color....ran them with the OE centercaps, the wheels have been repainted since I tore the truck down.

Possible, but not likely. If anything, I'd keep the motor/trans/parts and sell the body/chassis as a roller for $3k or trade?....any further break-down than that would require some firm commitments from all parties interested.

man that is sweet!!!!! To start off i want that lightbar asap! how much you gotta have for it? I want it! lol Next its too bad its not en ext cab frame,id def b interested in the chassis then...maybe with solid axle parts or even just the 6"lift kit.What would you want for that? Shoot me a pm and maybe we can meetup or something since im in alpena too...Oh any interest in a 96 Kawasaki 900zxi waverunner? later,trav

No real interest in a wave runner, I'll sell the 6" lift when I get around to putting the Dana 60 under the front....but that will be a couple years after I clear out some other projects....right now I'm mostly interested in selling the whole thing.

No. The Pro-Comp lift doesn't really allow things to be put back to stock very well, so I'd end up with 6000lbs of truck with no way to roll it around.
