Default how can i take my rock sliders off?+

these thing are like glued on... to other owner of the jeep had these installed and i want to take them off and sand blast them so i can add tube and powder coat them... i took of every bolt, tried heating them up a little bit with a heat gun and still nothing... and ideas anyone??

I wonder if the PO put silicone behind them to keep them from rubbing...

its got to be something stronger then cilicone but yea thats what im thinks thats why i was heating it to try and soften it up but i got no clue what to do...

Did you look on the bottom side of the guards for bolts?

Did you check for welds? I saw an XJ with them welded to the "frame".

If it's something like 3M VHB ( http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...apes/VHB-Tape/ ) you can't directly pull it off. I'd use a large putty knife and some heat.
