I have the 11 fx4 with ecoboost, and love it. The only problem i've had is an 02 sensor was shaken loose, but that was after two days of beating the hell out of it at the dunes. Other than that, no complaints.

For seat height? Don't forget about adjustable pedals & booster seat.

That was the previous gen too. So 40k for a new quad cab truck isn't surprising.
My 2011 Sierra 2500HD W/T with tow/trailer/plow/power locks&windows/6.0L/4x4 was $38K.

You mean from Toy's R Us? Or for real?

I don't think that the pedals are an XL option.

yeah, neither is the 6.2 engine, either.

edit: ahh, you are talking F250, not F150.

My wife is 5' 2" and does fine with mine, but mine has the power pedals and power seat, and telescoping wheel.

I have never owned one but have driven many as work trucks. Solid, reliable trucks that have a shit interior and ride like a dump truck. Drive a dodge to work, drive a chevy to the bar.

they don't have the fit, finish, refinement, or details that the other two trucks have.

They are slightly worse on mileage, slightly less fit and fisnish, slightly less quality, slightly less longevity, slightly, ...... it all adds up to not as nice of a truck in my opinion.

I disagree, Dodge has made some vast improvements in the last couple years with quality. But then again, I prefer Dodges, so I am a biased opinion.

I have always been a Chevy guy, and my current company truck is a Chevy. The company just bought me a 2011 Dodge. I'll be curious how it does, my boss has been impressed with his so far. I won't take delivery for another month or so though as the guy that is in charge of company vehicles just lost his wife and I guess it is in VA.

My next truck will probably be a Ford. Never really paid attention to the Ecoboost motor though. Of course my next truck probably won't be new either. Either that or a 12V Cummins.
Right now my GMC is decent, pisses gas and apparently will forever sit raked because the geniuses at GM decided to make the truck coil sprung front end for that specific model and year. Lowering the rear is not an option.
Gas Dodges are pretty nice too, kinda hate the whole 16 spark plug thing though. Had a guy come into my work and bought 32 spark plugs, I think all double platinum, for two vehicles. I believe a '10 Ram 1500 Hemi and an SRT-8 Grand Cherokee.
