Default Ford Freestar?

Any opinions?
Currently have a 99' e150 that I am tired of feeding & thought about looking for a 05 or newer Freestar?

thoughts??

Seem like decent vehicles, I have no first hand experience with them, but I don't really have people coming in for anything other than brake, I think its the rears that go out every 30-40k.

my wifes 04 freestar's tranny randomly went, the door latch randomly went. but other than that, no. i miss it.

tranny at 50,000 other then that good van

I mite be getting rid of mine

Head gaskets. Make sure they've been replaced and the proper head bolts installed

I think i'd look elsewhere.

maybe a Taurus X, or freestyle, or a sienna, or a hideous Quest. Those are the dark ages of domestic minivans.
