Water is usually a good place to start or the pet store.

Technically, from a fishing perspective, it's Michigan...
Isle Royale National Park.
McCargo Cove for Northern Pike, Duncan Bay for Trout, and Chickenbone Lake for the Walleye.

Phenomenal in all respects.

If you are fishing from shore, there are no real "good spot's"

If you are fishing from a boat, you cant go wrong with Lake St Clair the St Clair River and the Detroit River

Walleye,Small Mouth,Muskie are the Fish to go after on those 3 bodies of water.

People travel from all over the country to fish there and another great spot for walleye is Saginaw Bay.

We catch a lot of catfish while walleye fishing. My dad caught a 20+ pound channel cat on sag bay a couple weeks ago.
