Default Vehicle Shipping Carrier/Broker

I just purchased a vehicle that is located in El Paso Texas and need to have it shipped to MI. I thought I had it all nailed down (through the selling dealership) but that lead turned out they were going to leverage terminals and could be as far as 20 days out to just pick the vehicle up.

I have looked on-line and received about 20 quotes from different brokers and such. Their prices are all over the board, and most of the brokers I have talked to seem questionable in their ethics when I start asking questions. I realize that it is an extremely competitive business and that the brokers are pretty much all free agents.

Any one on here a broker? Carrier that can recommend a broker? Have pointers on having a vehicle shipped?

Understood on the cost... I just don't get why they are all over the place. I have had quotes for as low as $750 and as high as $1600. Average is about $950 and most those have good BBB reputations and the like...

Who have people here used?

Cost depends on if they have a 2, 3, 4, X... car trailer, if they are driving there and back only for your vehicle, if they are using yours as a back haul, etc...

This is also the reason for the 20 day waiting period, they have to work your vehicle into the route.

I just had an F250 shipped from Weatherford Tx to Howell a few months back and it cost me $600. I used willhaulit.com. Ask for Susan she seems to work the best deals. Also check out uship.com
