Sounds like your "racecar" was running pretty good too bill!

Congrats to Mike for the win, building your chassis that seems to be running great, and hoser for keeping it together for a 2nd place!

But most importantly you guys bought a kick ass pool.

Nice job guys.

We ended up 7th of 9 in C class. We flopped on lap 2 and lost half an hour before we could get it back on all four to finish some laps.

The pool made the weekend.

My car ran awesome, minus some shock issues I am trying to work out with FOA. More on that later. I got out of the landrush start in 3rd place (of 12). Aparently the whipped out 351W has descent power. Who knew. The first lap was dustier than all hell, but by the end of the first lap I was in first. I held the lead through lap 2 and 3. Half way through lap 3 my engine started to misfire and was only running on 4 cylinders. It only took Mike about 2 minutes to catch me after that and take the lead. He never dropped off the lead. Mike was the only car to pass me. I barely made it to the pits (and suprisingly still had a good lap time), but that was the end of the day for me. Not enough power to make it through some of the climbs and didn't want to damage other stuff (trans temp was pegged due to low power).

I know I only completed 4 laps, but it is fun for me to say Colville was the only car that passed me (eventhoguh I had 4 cylinders firing at that point). It appears the engine misfire might be due to overheated sparkplug wires, but I need to dig into that tonight. Hell of a fun debut, and in my eyes, a fairly successfull shake-down run.

Here are the lap times. The (X) next to the lap time was the position you were in.
