That is a pretty pricey heater. I think around $600, my cost.

Lol, yes that is the cost at a plumbing supplier. Depot and Lowes are much higher. Price may have gone up, but as of a few weeks ago they were around $600 plus tax. If you need one I can let them know a customer of mine is coming in to pick one up. I use a supplier in Warren primarily.

Howell is a hike though. You should just try calling a local plumbing supplier and asking for the price of a 50 gallon power vent. They will probably still give you a good price.

THanks man.....what brand power vent water heater was that for $600? I have an AO smith right now and it seems ok but I had an powerflex model I believe the model before and it was a POS.

Northwest pipe between Howell and Brighton carries American brand heaters, that would be the powerflex model. Try the Ferguson in New Hudson, I believe they will sell over the counter(it would be a bradford white unit) or Vic Bond in Howell(across from VG's) sells AO Smiths and I'm 99% sure they sell to anyone.

Vic Bond will sell to you. I'd stay away from the "american" brand heaters. They are not know to last. cheaper for a reason. A.o. Smith heaters are good.
