In The peoples republic of california they can't carry concealed, so they must carry open and keep the damn thing unloaded. Its a crock of shit, but its the only way they can carry. It turns normal CC people into OC d-bags, and that needs to change. Now I like the Cops attitude, he understands the law and let the d-bag be a d-bag. Good encounter in my opinion, but should have never happened.

by D-bag, I mean walking down the expressway, gun on one side, camera on the other. I was unaware it had to be unloaded.

Oh yeah I knew what you meant, and I figured yo didn't know about the unloaded thing, not a ton of people do, but the laws create more OC d-bags than there needs to be. Personally I would just carry a voice recorder, no need for a film crew if you are really trying to just CYOA.

I think a majority of the police officers out there are probably like this, however we don't hear about them because usually people who do their job properly don't end up with videos of them on youtube.

What do you think he was looking for walking down the side of the road carrying a gun and a video camera? It looks to me like he was looking for a confrontation with the police. If that is the case, I would say that makes him a douchebag.

Default Hmmmm

Many OC'ers carry a voice recorder and have it going the entire time they are out. It's very common.

Since so many cops and citizens don't know the law, they want to cover their ass in a situation.

Now walkin down the freeway...yeah...what's with that?

I thought in the video the cop pointed and said "is he filing me?"....aka two people. Not gonna go back and look again.

I was just curious to see if Kelly thought the guy was a d-bag just simply for open carrying, or for filming it.

He stated why he thought the guy was a d-bag before you even made your comment. If you would have read you would have received your answer, and never had to of made your post.
