I picked up a .35 spool of wire for you. Do you have the tips for that size? If not I can grab some for ya
I'm not 100% what's in it now but I think it's an 11 lb spool of .030, still full. I'll check when I get home from work what size is in it and what tips that I have.

I say the first design for sure.

edit: Just looked in the thread when I bought the welder. It's all set up for .035. You might want to grab a couple tips. I've got a few, it's just finding them

That or you could just cut up a piece of pipe that has the right radius

Plans are to build the first bumper now.

And I got something shiny in the mail too!

Forged yoke for the 10 bolt. Extra webbing, strapless, full grooves vs tabs, and its light too! Only this is that it is made for the strip, so I might have to clearance it. But for the price I can't complain. Ebay ftw.

You should build a rear stinger tire carrier like this one

I think they are sexy and offer some decent protection. If I remember correctly you are kinda hard on the ol tire carrier/bumper there:

Yep, that's the plan. A tree proof bumper, because I doubt the tailgate could take one more beating. Its caved in about 3 inches already and wont open from the outside. Gota make this one strong!

Oh and in that video I was hitting the shackle mount hitch thingy. Hurt like hell hitting the bottom. And the mount was wedged in so hard it I had to tie it to the telephone poll in the yard and tug at it to get it to come out. The neighbors got quite a show

But the new bumper has more clearance so there should be no problems with the slab now!

I just remember a guy behind you asking "You dont need that bumper anymore right?" That is a lot of force crashing down on that badboy

It hates me! The ring and pinion have been fine so far (knock on wood) but the shafts don't have a very long life expectancy. Chromos and Ctms or equivalent should survive, but then your approaching the cost of a 60.

Thanks Luke, I might take you up on that! But I'm going to try to hold out for a bender if I can find one. I'll let you know by Friday.
