Default Plastic seats.

I am going to use some air ride (semi truck) seats in this jeep. But I don't want to use the "padded foam seats" because I want the ability to rinse the interior down with a pressure washer.

I am looking for a 2 piece plastic seat. I want high rise with a small area like a inch or so between the top of the bottom and the mounting system.

The space between the top and bottom will give a little bit of comfort over not having any padding at all. I will have removable (dry cleanable) padding to give a little comfort when driving buy want to be able to store that padding and have the interior mud caked off road.

Almost something like these seats is what I mean in the area between the bottom of the seat and the mounting surface.

These seats (^^^) are really expensive new when compared to other plastic seats and I would need to cut them (so they could recline) to make them work not to mention the plastic is not uv stable there for I will need to worry about the butt area (the weak point) cracking and filling up with water/sand.

All my interior electronics / gauges are above the drivers head (and the floor does not have that jeep shin hitting side to it) with the forethought of spraying down the interior.

I am asking what you would use as far as plastic seats. Whats good and what is junk?

I just used old vans seats in my jeep, vinyl washes off nice and the foam does not get soaked even in a heavy rain. Or you could use boat seats.
